A Guide to The Putney Society Blue Plaque Scheme

As you may have noticed on buildings in Putney, the Putney Society has installed a series of Blue Plaques commemorating the lives of eminent people who have had a significant connection to Putney.

There are currently 11 Plaques in total, the latest commemorating the artist Sir Sidney Nolan was installed in March 2022. The Guide to all the plaques has been revised and is available below:

The Society welcomes proposals for additional Blue Plaques, however the nomination must meet the Policy guidelines set out in the Guide.
